This may sound simple and you all probably "say" you do it but....Listen to your Customer. Give them a voice in the process. No one does that anymore on a consistent bases. Especially if you have employees interacting with customers who may not understand or know how to effectively do that.... Especially if you have employees interacting with customers who may not understand or know how to effectively do that. Customer's don't Care how much you know , until they know You Care! You don't always have to throw monies at them, or gifts....just so they know they are being heard. Makes them part of the Service Solution then and they will refer you to all they know or come in contact with because they feel part of the process. Then if deserving, you can extend a Thank You gift...means more and you are rewarding the right behavior. Just a thought....all the best to everyone out there that get's up every morning and hits the ground running.

Well, I'm big on not "guessing" what my customers/prospects want and taking some time up front to ask, "what added value could I bring to our partnership"? "How can I be a resource in your business and what would that look like from your perspective"? I consider them a "Partner". I would ask a... (more) Well, I'm big on not "guessing" what my customers/prospects want and taking some time up front to ask, "what added value could I bring to our partnership"? "How can I be a resource in your business and what would that look like from your perspective"? I consider them a "Partner". I would ask a couple of them, one at a time, to a coffee or lunch as ask them that simple question. Let them define your value and then produce it. I bet the value they need will be pretty close to the same value for many Realtors and then you just duplicate it. But the key is....that it was built from them out and not from you in as to what you think. They will also respond better as you will have built a service that speaks to them. Just a thought? Probably not in our specific arena as we are a Restoration Company and although we do Full Service on the Reconstruction side and are very capable, we are governed heavily by the Insurance Companies. Profit isn't always their motivation. But looks like it would be a good thing for others....it...
