About Us

With 25 years as an award-winning creative strategist, graphic designer, and program manager, I have combined my passions of strategy, communications, and health to create a powerful marketing agency and magazine. We work with people all over the world to help people better understand how to make healthy and fun choices in life and business. This leads them to having more time to do what they love.

How We Got Started

I started in business at a very young age creating greeting cards and selling them at Saturday Market. My artwork was sold at galleries until I started my Creative Agency ID Graphics in 1994. In 2012 we became known as Bamboo River Marketing and I started creating Healthy & Fun Choices educational programs and books. I've worked with hundreds of business owners doing logo design, marketing strategy, website design, social and digital media, and unique pathways for incredible success.

And in order to get more clients from that one area, there are some different ways that you can approach it. There are some great websites online that you can be part of and they help promote you when people are looking like Psychology Today comes to mind. If you need help beyond that maybe it is connecting with doctors offices that can refer to your practice.

It's a great opportunity to start new pathways online so that it expands your reach not just this holiday season but for years to come. Most importantly I would say is to focus on your ideal market and find ways that you can reach out to them. Also make your website so it is easy for people to find your art and crafts, and to purchase the items when they have the interest.

You never have a $0 advertising budget because time is money and money is time. So change your approach to how you invest in your future, and everything will change. The question I would ask you is who do you want to work with? Do you know 1-5 people who could value your work? Approach them and... The question I would ask you is who do you want to work with? Do you know 1-5 people who could value your work? Approach them and try a couple projects with them. Then from there build your client list and take 10% from what you make to invest in marketing for reaching more of those types of people.

(more) I see advertising as a way of educating the consumer and your ideal clients. You don't just advertise and expect clicks, it takes a little more than that. You create connections through conversations and create outstanding ads that draw interest. Many of my clients and my own brands have outstanding success with their advertising and marketing campaigns and got excellent return on investment. I remember one client where we focused on a slight change in how he priced his product/services and his profitability went up with excellent return on investment!
