About Us

ARIEL Home Inspections: will provide you with more than 40 years of engineering experience and a Master Inspector Certification. I have completed more than 4,600 home inspections and over 1,430 commercial inspections. You are using the most experienced person that provides you an easy to understand assessment of your home. I will personally walk you through your home and describe any defects, damage or safety issues to be aware of before your final negotiations,

If you are investing in rental or commercial buildings you have my experience to guide you through the building and systems evaluation and the unique issues with ADA compliance and safety. Certified by CCPIA # 0642
I use the latest technology during my inspections including electronic detection for electrical issues, Infra-Red scanning for plumbing leaks and other non-visual problems and high resolution drone photography and infra-red scanning of roofs to detect leaks and other hidden damage.

How We Got Started

I retired from aerospace and oil and gas consulting after a major merger when I was 49. Moved to Vail, Colorado where I worked as a ski instructor and met lots of homeowners on the mountain who inquired about my engineering background and if I could inspect their home, roof, deck, hydronic heating systems etc. That eventually led to hiring 8 additional engineers and the rest as they say is history. We love what we do and helping home owners deal with the complexity of todays homes is what we do best.

There is a timeline depiction that maps the stages of grieving so an individual will anticipate in advance the stages we must pass thru in dealing with the loss of someone dear to us. The writing style is comforting and will provide a resource for those late evenings and mid morning times when you may feel overwhelmed with despair and aloneness. I’ve given this book to my friends several times over the years who have thanked me for referring them to this book.

Good phone communication is your first and probably as a service provider your most important challenge. When a potential client or customer calls you have only the first 30 seconds to begin to establish rapport with them to move to the second 30 seconds of your "listening to their needs" and... (more) Good phone communication is your first and probably as a service provider your most important challenge. When a potential client or customer calls you have only the first 30 seconds to begin to establish rapport with them to move to the second 30 seconds of your "listening to their needs" and tailoring your response to meet those needs. Clients want to be heard and also led to work with you (Thats why they called in the first place based on a referral or your website, social media exposure etc.). So often I find that I need to be ready for those calls as good communication on this first call is 90% of how you can close business successfully. Practice your introduction and transition to asking questions that will lead them to trust you and your experience...if you don't polish your message and get this right the next call will be to your competitors.

Viewer attention span on video is very short...your message is good however it should only take 30-90 secs to get it across to your potential clients.
