To be honest, what I have found to be the most successful is Direct Mail. Folks that are more seasoned, are more apt to respond to a mail piece, rather than digital/social. The main reason is that they are simply more used to it, and trust it. We have clients who service this segment and they send out thousands of pieces of mail a month, and that's how they reach out to their market segment.

As much as I enjoy a free cup of coffee, or a free meal, networking events haven't really offered any opportunities in my line of work. Getting to know local companies, one on one, outside of an event setting, has always garnered actual client relationships.

As simple as it may sound, you have to ask yourself what makes you unique? Why should you stand out among the competition, especially larger companies? Is it that you offer a much more personal, hands-on approach, compared to larger companies that offer your same products or services? Is there...

As simple as it may sound, you have to ask yourself what makes you unique? Why should you stand out among the competition, especially larger companies? Is it that you offer a much more personal, hands-on approach, compared to larger companies that offer your same products or services? Is there a price differential, or service differential? I recommend that those types of questions be answered first.
I agree. There is a definite resurgence back to a tactile. Digital is not going anywhere, but neither is print. The key is utilizing them both, in balance, to optimize results for your clients specific needs. It's like owning a car, but no gas. Or owning gas, but no car. You need both.

It doesn't matter how innovative or great you think the products and/or services you have to offer prospects and clients are, if the experience in getting them is difficult. You've missed the boat. Hi Arta, how do you normally market your courses? Have you been getting results through SM channels? Have you used any traditional print methods?

Hi Daniel,
Sorry for the late reply. If you have a high level of certainty that your offering is going to benefit your prospect, the best way that I have found to offer your service is to focus on the clients need and develop your marketing around a "them", and not your service. In other words, I would use terms like "if YOUR organization has challenges with XYZ, we have some ideas that can help you in that area". In many cases, a simple email to a CEO/President/COO with that simple verbiage get's me a response.
