It's important as a consultant and advisor to ask lots of questions before the quoting process. In the small group health space, no market is blocked so if they're happy with the current agent, ask why are the quoting in the first place? I advise and tell prospects I'm going to present the same numbers and if they're price shopping, I may decline to quote. You're selling your expertise and service so it's important to try to uncover areas that need attention. (more)
