A well thought out customer loyalty program with text communication brings back your regular customers more often - and throwing in a review generation text campaign (with proper strategy) will encourage more positive reviews thus more new customers will then be enticed to visit your business when they see more 4 and 5 star reviews across various platforms. Of course those new customers will want to join the loyalty program too once they see how awesome your business is :)
It does take time to build a customer list but pays dividends in the long term. Not an instant strategy but starting sooner is always better than later.

Since 2012, I have been providing mobile marketing services to all types of mid-south businesses (primarily retail and restaurants) utilizing customer loyalty programs and other online marketing tools. This COVID-19 situation has hit everyone hard and the one thing I have been able to provide is a direct line of communication to our clients customers letting their customers know when they are open for pickup or delivery, how to order products, meals, services, hours of operation, etc. This is accomplished through text messages. Text messaging is a very fluid form of communication which means we can provide our clients with "real time" notifications to let their customers know what's going on. Having a database of your most loyal customers is a very valuable tool providing the ability to text all your customers at once informing them “what they know, when they need to know it”.
Of course, this is done on an opt in basis and subscribers can easily opt out at any time. We have always followed and strictly adhere to all rules and guidelines of the mobile industry and wireless carriers. Absolutely NO data sharing, NO spam.
