Hello Johanna,
I find it most successful to meet local clients in a local environment. Chamber of Commerce, Business receptions, community events. I always have business cards and t always follow up.
I have not found a good 'internet' (facebook, AdWords etc.) campaign that converts well...

I have not found a good 'internet' (facebook, AdWords etc.) campaign that converts well enough to justify the expense. My go to 'lead generator' is shaking hands with other business owners and better understanding their business.
