They did not do enough. The reality is that by not having more stringent measures, the pandemic has continued longer with the resulting illness, hospitalizations, death and long covid complications. If more stringent measures has been put in place, there would have been more of a short term impact but businesses would have been less impacted long term. Provinces on the east coast proved this to be effective. I was in New Brunswick twice in the past year and by stringent measures early in the pandemic, and maintain border controls from other provinces, businesses were much less impacted because the number of cases were so low.

Here is the list of incumbents re-seeking election in Airdrie , Alberta, personally they are all collectively responsible for voting for lock-downs and masking and choking the life out of the Small business community in Airdrie the past 18 months. As result, many of  the small businesses which are listed on Alignable here, have been struggling to stay afloat with minimal staff levels, which means these incumbents should not be re-elected. https://www.airdrietoday.com/2...

These incumbents and their actions this past 18 months have been job killers, not a good situation for teenagers and young people looking for work, and putting many older workers into unemployment not even showing up on the unemployment registers. Also no one can find out what the suicide rates have been here, as that information is hidden but certainly high if you check the obits. (too many young deaths.)

You will want to checkout the credentials and policies of the other candidates to make sure we will not have a repeat of these communist actions.

Agree, please share this post, anyone with a sign Re-elect should be igonred, the others should be scrutinized closely before selection as to what their platform actually stands for especially  their position re: lockdowns & masks.
