Does anyone have a tips for getting new clients for your online store?

I have many clients from my physical location.. but want to get more clients online only. Any suggestions as to how you get New clients for your online store? Also, what are you doing to gain their trust? I am similar to VistaPrint .. but I guess because I am a local business rather than a huge company... it is harder to gain trust from clients. Any advice?

Depending on what you do we started with EBay each day building our online reputation with other people in the same field. For instance sometimes we need parts that are NLA or they do we end up buying a lot between appliance stores all over the US through eBay.  😀    In addition you have to build up your reputation by selling its not fast or easy but it can be done!  There are scammers out there also you must have active video in our case to prove what you are selling does work or whatever the case may be.  Pictures are very important and lots of details and instructions your average customer isn't going to think like you do in your skilled profession!  Teach it helps customers learn and understand.
There are a few things you can be doing to drive more traffic to your site; social media promotions with links to your products, email marketing with links to your website and etc. Once there a great way to display trust is thru customer testimonials or product reviews.
Driving Organic traffic to your site using social media is probably the least expensive way . It does take longer to build a clientele though.
A lot of my clients will opt in for On-site SEO and Pay Per Click advertising. This is much faster and has an excellent Return On Investment. It will increase your website ranking more quickly too.
We use social media for a more personal engagement. Posting updates and funny posts, etc.
Don’t lean to heavy on any marketing venues. Diversity in customers is the key to long term stability.
I'd like to ask a couple more questions then. Do you intend for this website to be an e-commerce type of website? Do you intend to do the website creation and then your digital marketing in-house or will you outsource that? Do have budgets in mind? I'm not asking for you to share the actual numbers, especially not publically, just if you have figured out what this effort is worth to you.

The one thing I can tell you, without any more information, is the website must come first and needs to be given a great deal of care.
