Can we find N95 Masks? In construction we need this mask, our field is dusty, we deal with some chemical dust while building, demolishing or polishing.

I do have N95 masks but more for medical than construction. N95 masks are the US standards for respirator masks; KN95 masks are the Chinese standards. Mostly you will find KN95 masks. I do need N95 masks in my position and luckily I had some from some home improvement projects in the past.  Most of the N95 masks are being held and sold to healthcare workers. I did find some on Cabela’s website under the brand LaKota. They are Chinese but are listed on the FDA website as being approved as NIOSH. But prices have skyrocketed so be prepared for that. The KN95 masks are ok but use ear loops so I don’t feel they give you the seal as an N95. That might just be a sizing issue. Hope that helps. 

Search for Medical Supplies in your zip code. There are Home Medical Equipment companies all over the US and they usually will stock some of the N95 masks. These are the companies that normally sell wheelchairs, beds, and bath safety type products.

Hello! KN95 is of less quality then the N95 mask. The N95 is the best quality as you well know already. Although it is hard to breathe through for some people. The KN95 is manufactured out of the country either from China, Korea or India. The N95 masks are available in the market . If you need please let me know.

The N95 mask is very difficult to locate and seems to only be available to front line healthcare workers  - however the KN95 mask which does an excellent job of filtering dust is readily available  - My understanding of the differences is that KN95 is made in China  - The N95 mask is made in the USA with higher manufacturing standards & slightly better filtration ability.  I hope this answers your question  - Brian Costello Gabachief Medical

True NIOSH certified N95 masks are still difficult to get and more expensive than threy should be. Good news is that KN95 masks are available and reasonably priced. KN95 masks are the Chinese certification of the equivalent of the N95. Same tests passed. Keep in mind that all NIOSH certified masks are also made in China. McCormick Med has plenty if you are in need.
