Could you please critique my website?

I updated my website this weekend and I am pretty happy with it overall. I'd just like to put it out there for evaluation and any constructive criticism. Do you think I need to add or remove anything? Does it flow? Punctuation? Does the color scheme work? Anything else that you can think of?

Thanks,

You have some great suggestions.. here is one more... how are you capturing peoples visit? Your first video does not require me to put in visitor info. That's why you have a website right? To capture the people looking for you. Your site should have all kinds of clicky-things so I might try to find a solution but each one requires me to put in my email so you can SEND me the solution.

Hi Cliff, the very first issue you have is that the website is not redirecting to https, so all the web browsers will mark it as no secured and that won't give security to your visitors, apart that you will miss search engines indexation.

The second problem is that your backgrounds on are dark, and the text on the top bar and navigation bar are black, so it's not good visually, some one that is not tech savvy may feel confused and you will have a high bounce rate.

I recommend that the footer color would go as the slider, wide screen ant to be boxed.

I hope this comment helps.

The background pic has nothing to do with what you do. You need your header pic to look like what your customer wants. Your top menu font is black and hard to read .   You need people to click through to an appointment schedule or however you plan to capture a sale ABOVE THE FOLD or without scrolling.

Look at my site which I will be overhauling very soon)  www.njfirearms.com but it is 'grunt n click'. They land on my page and see what they want to be doing and click on it. the process to landing and sales capture or lead capture must be 2 - 3 clicks and least amount of scrolling. And your source code is not very good.

Lots of great advice here already.  My quick take...

> Too much unnecessary video.  It's eye candy and that's all.  If it slows down you load times by even a half q second, that it's doing nothing to help you.  Websites today are TOOLS.  People want to get there, navigate quickly to what they want and then get that info or make contact.

> I'm seeing dark navigation over a dark background, at least on my laptop. Might be different on mobile.

> I think this page https://yocs.net/support-help-faq/ is more of what the site might want to look like.

OVER EASY DIGITAL

If I were to need your services, it's self explanatory on what to do. I didn't see if you had any testimonials from customers who had use the service.

Overall it looks fine and if people want to get reviews of consumers experience, you register on Yelp, Trust Pilot and Better Business Bureau. I shared your website on social media platforms.

I absolutely love the video.  The site is very nice.  A few things that stood out to me are that on the desktop I can not scroll down unless I use the scroll bar on the right.  On mobile it works just fine.  The other thing I noticed is that you do not have any Meta Descriptions on your pages.  The is key for Google to crawl your site and increase your rankings on searches.

Thanks,

Natalie

Pictures used are not consistent, appears more social media like as opposed to IT, logo appears to be from the early 2000s futuristic feel. But overall a good web design layout.

I agree with Jim's points below. The logo is a bit hard to read at first and once on of the backdrops switched to a darker color, I wasnt able to see the tabs along the top.  I do like the pricing documents on the Services page, lets someone know what they have to invest upfront.
