Do you pay minimum wage to any of your staff?

If so, is there a reason you do? As in, why you don't pay a little more to show that appreciation or do you show appreciation in other ways?

I would never pay Minimum wage. If I wouldn't do the job for minimum wage, how could I expect someone else to. I realize that different jobs have different values but you have to be real. I have never had an employee leave me because of wages or how they were treated. I have had employees leave because of the betterment of themselves. I have always encouraged this. My 2 Cents.

We pay more than that BUT we also tell them that sales It’s either the highest paying job you can have or the lowest paying job you can have minimal quality means minimum-wage.

Wow, I just looked up what the minimum wage is in Virginia for 2018.  Certainly a paltry amount.  We are a professional organization and try to keep our salaries and benefits competitive.

I use contractors when necessary and in my industry they are paid a fair acceptable ongoing subcontract rate.

Heck no. We have quality people, and they need to be able to afford a place to live.

Even a temp or intern is paid $15 per hour.
