My name is David kinney.
I am in the Business service industry. Providing payment solutions for all business sizes. I offer a wide variety of solutions from a simple credit card reader for your phone or tablet, to some of the best points of sale software and devices available. I also offer a Zero Cost solution for the budget minded merchant.
My goal is to provide the best service and save the merchant as much money as possible for their given business.
I strive for excellence in both service and products whether you are a small sole proprietor to a worldwide Corporation. I provide the same level of service for all.

Consistency! This is a word. A powerful word. But by definition, a word that has a hidden power to find fruit you would not otherwise find. Let me explain.
At 8 am I get out my call list along with my pipeline list. From 8 to 12 I am calling to set appointments. I try to set my appointments for the afternoon, it just seems to work better. From 1 to 5 I am running appointments or closing. I do this Monday through Friday.
When at an appointment weather I close them or not I will knock on the business door around the compus to leave my card and get the card of the person I would need to speak to when I call them back to set an appointment.
By being Consistent we create a ripple in our day to day lives. You never know who you are going to meet. Some days are more life changing than others.

Thus eliminating the decision of... Can I afford to take CC or Debit cards. By taking the Transaction fees away from the merchant it becomes a no brainer. Take all cards regardless and keep moving. Do the work. You know what needs to be done. Like Nike says... Just do it!
Not all businesses can be a home based business. You are the only one that can identify whether your customers would be more comfortable in a brick and mortar or your home.
If your business takes you to your customer directly and they don't come to your location. Then yes. Working from home might be an option.
Also... How comfortable are you with your customer coming into your home? Seeing your children or your antique diamond collection display. LOL.
Keep in mind the scope of your products and services and how they deliver. Are they drop shipped? Do you have to install them? I am not saying that can't start any business from home. I am saying, look at the long term and where your customer base would see you the most.
Now I have a life coach. He has change me personally, from how I eat, sleep and deal with people. I can only describe him with one word. AMAZING. He started in his home. Now he has a small 1500 square foot location that works for him. However it made sense for his client base to come tom him once a week and meet with him at his modest location for the personal one on one. I love that aspect of what he does. It gives me a sense of personal face to face with my coach. Not in a living room or den or a converted garage.

8:00 Make calls to potential customers till 12:00
1:00 Run set appointments until I have one new customer. If no new customer I knock on the doors of the potential customers close to each appointment. I am always looking.
6:00 pm. go home.
This may not be the model that works for your business. But the drive and commitment is what I am pointing out.
