my advice is( you don't buy a boat in the spring time, or a mower .) I do not install pools, though I own a Plastering company. Best time to buy a pool in out of season or your goona pay a steap price..

It's still too cold here in Minnesota, but you should be planning and scheduling the work. Pool sub-contractors will be extremely busy so planning ahead is the key!

In SWFL pool building season is all year around.

Depends on where you live. My rule of thumb on pools:

If you can paint the house exterior, you can install a pool too.

Make sense?

When we think the cold is gone and get some 80 degree days....People want there pool as soon as they can get it...

I would think the Pool Builders start gearing up in the Spring but really do not have any experiance to lend on this one. Steel Construction is similar, we start gearing up in Feb and run hard until November it seems.

I am not a pool expert, but I would think that pool builders would prefer the ground to dry out from all of this heavy rain before starting to dig.

In New England, it’s when the ground thaws. I think the best time to put an in ground pool in would be early fall when things are starting to slow down as well as replanting grass. Pricing should be better at this time.

Some other things to take into consideration is your location. I would check with your local pool companies for best times . Do your research and have your schedule documented so there are no hidden surprises

I'm sorry...we do not work with pools at all.
