How do you react when someone suggests grammar, punctuation, or spelling improvements on your website?

Do you appreciate the outside advise and ask for more, or.......?

Hi Doug, We are usually unhappy with ourselves for not catching any errors prior to publishing. However, we are always pleased when some brings it to our attention so that we can make a correction. It also shows that that person spent time to read and learn about something on our site and then made the extra step to contact us and engage about it. Which is really a nice thing to do.

I would thank them and tell them their changes will be taken under consideration.  I would then pass their advice to our Marketing or other applicable department for their consideration and review.

Probably better make those changes. That's your audience telling you that they aren't happy with what your copy says or the way it's said.

This is why having a copywriter is important. Also hiring a web company that has a copywriter is worth it's weight in gold. They can make you sound better and help with the message your website sends.

I would always respond in thanking them for their feedback and that you'll review the suggested changes. It's a gift if someone is kindly pointing out a mistake that can be fixed.

I would be flattered that someone was actually reading my content

I will listen to the person investigate correct the spelling, word's or whatever the problem is and thank the individual that gave me the advice or if they are wrong I will do nothing or say nothing to the person for being wrong.

Accept as feedback from the customers viewpoint. Change to make site customer centric

Thank them and make the appropriate changes.

I welcome that since I know I am a terrible typist. Crammer, don't know but I'm not perfect
