Chiropractors, Whats the Best Way to Grow in a Small Town?

Moving to a small town here is Hawaii from Los Angeles. What is the best way to grow my chiropractic and massage office?

One on one contact. Join a good civic group like Rotary or kiwanis etc. Join toastmasters. Speak everywhere you can in public about the benefits of Chiropractic. Join a religious affiliation....church, synagogue etc. Meet people and then meet more people. Let them know who you are and what you do. Give out many cards. Get involved in the community with everything that you can.........

Do everything said below with regards to joining local groups. I found the best way is to do lots of talks inside and outside your office. Standing in front of a group makes you an expert in the eyes of the community and people know exactly what they are getting when they come see you. It will be good patients, not just price shoppers.

Try local cable tv. I bet in small zip codes its very inexpensive...also print ads are cheaper. Radio, everything is cheaper. U are lucky! Where i live EVERYTHING is expensive! I also could consult with you if you want a coach to help u meet ur goals. [email address]

Super simple. Get to truly know a minimum of 3 new people every day. Sounds easy, actually takes deligent effort. A numbers game, know your 90 second "elevator" speech about who you are, what you do and why you can help. Done and it's free.

Word of mouth and getting involved in the community are the best ways.


I also found that old-fashioned mail advertising worked fabulously.

It will take awhile but it is all about trust. Meet as many people as you can and be as authentic as possible...be yourself. Ask people about themselves and only offer info about you when asked...but do them know you just opened a new office...invite them for a tour...stop in. If you do join a club or something in town..have an office reception with food and bev. Good luck...I'm envious of your new locale

Get involved in community. Run for elected office! School Board, councilmen, committeemen, alderman or mayor!

Use market samari to identify key words with the combination of your town's name and chiropractor (example: Honolulu chiropractor sciatica) and start building web pages with those terms. Make sure to use google+ (Nobody uses it, but it's google) to post often. if available, make your website title your town name chiropractic and chiropractor (yes, get both and just redirect one). In a small town, odds are in your fayou can dominate google. Run a few Facebook ads to generate some immediate new patients albeit medium to low quality. Then go meet people.

Be positive! Spend your first year getting out and meeting new people. Stay positive!!!!
