If you had to travel for more than 7 days, would you prefer a hotel or a Corporate Furnished Apartment? (why?)

I would stay in an apartment. I could cook my own meals and feel good about it in the end.

The question is not complete as one needs to know if it all business is going to be in one central area, will the business be in different town counties or even states.

In some situations if you have to travel to different counties then hotels probably is best as it is likely the amount of time it will take to travel to the appointments.

If this is for a convention then for business reasons it might be better to be in one of the recommended hotels that people attending the convention so you can bump into people attending travel with them to and from or for making appointments with those attending the conference.

So please ask more questions and I can give you the best answer thank you ahead of time

Being a traveler for work, I prefer Hotels when I'm in a country where language and culture is a problem.  When I freelance and travel for large companies, the corporate apartments are OK but they never have all the services offered by hotels.  Even when hosted in private houses/villas/palaces, they out perform hotels but I am not 100% free (security is ALWAYS watching me).  BUT even hotels are not 100% perfect - the other tourists can be pretty annoying and loud.  I pick my poison and then enjoy it!  L0L

I prefer a hotel so I don't have to worry about anything, just check in and relax. And most of the time it's a little more secure. No need to worry about cleaning up afterwards, just leave.

I prefer a corporate furnished apartment so I can prepare my own food. Eating in restaurants can be troublesome when we are focused on healthy eating. It is far easier to maintain a healthy diet when preparing the food myself.

Personally I prefer a hotel. I don’t want to worry about any cleaning, I can get my clothes laundered, there is usually a restaurant onsite or close by, and there are people around for safety and in case of emergencies.

For less than 15 days, hotel. I only need a bedroom and place to work on business travel.

It would depend on the price and location. If it's closer to where I need to be for the job at a comparable price, absolutely.  If the hotel was cheaper or closer, I'd go for that. Of course if it's an apartment where I can cook, that substantially lowers my food costs, so that is also preferable. If that also means I can bring my spouse and they can work in the apartment, also preferable.  There are a lot of variables, but assuming it's not more expensive per night than a hotel, I'd go with the apartment.

It depends on where it may be located. I think if I was on business, even for an extended time, I would go the hotel route or if maybe a room with a small kitchenette. If I am working it would be nice to have someone come in and freshen up my room and not have to worry about domestic things. Plus most have a pool or spa where I can relax when given the opportunity. I have clients both for business and leisure, who will book with me so they can take advantage of added amenities like resort credit, early check-in and late check-out and a few others so they get the most from their travel dollars.
