We have space out our Episode Salon & Lash Studio with hair stations that are 6 feet away from each other .  Our lash studio are only 1 lash bed per room, in 3 separate rooms !  Our Hair shampoo bowls & front desk are separate by plastic shield !  No more waiting area !  We also have mask & hand sanitizers & face shield for all our staff & clients .  We also will use a temperature gun to check every client when we greet them.  We also have 1 time disposable cape for every individual clients for color or for haircut clients !   Our Episode Salon are fully proof of Covid-19 protection when we reopen on July 13 Monday, 2020 .     Million Thanks.

I have stayed in touch with them throughout lock down and reopening. I am in a business where we were already used to sanitizing our room before and after clients. We wear masks for all of our treatments and have hand sanitizers everywhere. Communication is key.

I took advantage of  the time off to take some online certifications.  One of the most interesting, informative one was with Rejuvenate, One step Disinfectant Cleaner for use in Spas, Salons & Clinics.  State of the art...most impressed with it is a 1 Minute Virucidal, Bactericidal abilities.  I never knew it could take up to 10 minutes of other disinfectants to be effective.  Masks, gloves, face shield, laser thermometer (no touch) uv sterilizing wand.....up to this point, NOT taking any new clients.  Hoping by fall things will have calmed down enough for people to feel safe enough to start coming back in.

We already did the sanitation before and after clients prior to COVID and as of June 1, 2020, we are no longer requiring masks for therapist or client. In May the therapists wore masks and we allowed the clients to make their own choices. We do a COVID intake for those who are coming in for the first time post-COVID, otherwise we just ask the questions verbally and we take temperatures.

At Harmony Eco Spa we go above and beyond the standards of clean practices and safety for all staff and guests.  We have changed our protocol in every way to become the new normal of sanitizing all chairs, doorknobs, bathrooms, common areas with Germicide.  We have installed UV cleansing lamps throughout the spa, along with air purifiers that have ozone cleaning as well.  We have stopped the use of all facial steamers and are using hot steamy towels in place for facials.  We are requiring all staff to wear protective CDC medical approved face masks during your service.  We ask all guests to wear a complimentary given by Harmony, mask while having massage service in the "face up" portion of their massage.  This is a request and not a shamed choice if they choose no.  We honor our guests choices and still do the standard new procedure EVERY time in between guests of sanitizing.  We are keeping our doors locked in between guests and only allowing one guest per provider in at a time, asking next guest to wait in their car, or have a beverage over in our lovely coffee and pastry shop at the Hollander Hotel while waiting to be called to come in.  We take health and wellness very seriously and our proud to be leaders in our industry and city.

We change many thing and we have our protocol (click link ) to make sure we set up our place to have the best setup and the most safety place for clients and our therapists . We measure temperature to all clients and therapist each day and other screen our questions . Every one must wear mask . We post many sign to give education to staff and clients .

I am using a HIPAA-compliant online platform to provide virtual nutrition counseling visits. I am offering phone sessions for less tech-savvy clients

As a practitioner I wear mask and gown. I don’t let anyone in the office without a mask and using hand sanitizer at the door. At the arrival I asked customers to text and when the place is clean and safe they walk in. I don’t allow one person at the time to come in . We , in the office wipe and clean the whole area after each procedure . Also I  installed a big fan in the office

Hopefully all these keep us all safe

I have not reopened yet. My former office mate has. I moved out from our basement office in a hotel and am looking for a new space I can ventilate with windows. I’ve been purchasing impermeable table and pillow covers and other supplies and have two new HEPA air filters/UV sanitizers, along with masks, aprons, bleachable linens, etc. A number of therapists have already gone back to work in my town, so I am keeping an eye on the numbers. I hope to reopen in August at the latest. We shall see!
