When searching the web for a service like mine (Architectural Rendering), what would you type into the search bar?
This is a very unscientific survey - When searching the web for a service like mine (Architectural Rendering), I know what terms I would use but what would you type into the search bar? For those of you who are unfamiliar with Architectural Rendering,
I create electronic visualizations of homes, offices & landscapes
to help those planning such a project to envision it before it is built.
These images are used primarily for planning board presentations,
material selection & marketing.
I have a well defined market and I have used some of the online keyword tools and but I want to put that aside for a moment and just hear from you. If you were searching online for a service like mine, what would you type into the search bar?
Please enter the first search terms that come to mind in the comments.
Thanks in advance for your input.

While I applaud your research, you may not get many answers. Why?
I've been around a long time and have no idea what 'architectural rendering' is!! (I am obviously not an ideal client for you.)
And I'll bet I am not alone.
Your research needs to be more focused. You need to find people who have used the service. Or who understand the term.
The last thing you want is people guessing what it means and therefore guessing what they would enter...
And knowing who your ideal prospect is will help you in other areas of your marketing.

Although this is not my market either, I'm willing to contribute if it can help someone else succeed! A lot of times when we try advertising for our own niche, we get caught up in our terms and explanations of what we do. Simpler can be better. And since this isn't something I am well versed in, I think I can give you a little insight from a sort of "dumbed down" point of view. I think if I were looking for something like this I would search words like blueprint, layout, design, construct, preview, digital draft, illustration, graphic, composition, space, print, detail, corporate design.
I did read that 70% of all search traffic comes from long-tail keywords, highly specific 4-6 word phrases. Try stepping outside of your box, like you don't know a thing and the ideas will flow right in! I hope this helps even a little bit. Best of luck to you!
I'd try "3d floor planning" or modeling - something like that.
Tnx in advance - Eric
