I love writing, it takes me away from the daily activities. At present, I'm writing a book...yes, in between my busy schedule, late at night, I sit and begin typing away. If I hit a writer's block, I step away for a bit to regenerate the words. I cannot wait until my book is finished! (more)

Preference for morning, since I heard that Ernest Hemingway had a habit of getting up at 5:30 in the morning, What he actually wrote down every time?? Who really knows? But I always have a set schedule for my writing, and expanded that to  include other activities too. I feel you make time for   important things. The Rabbis call this a fixed habit; it's something that I always seem to go back to, Regardless of circumstance. "Fix" a place in life for all things creative.... (more)

Consider that writing is a part of a routine, just like those things you do on a daily basis. Even if you write for only 15 minutes a day, that 15 minutes might turn into an hour or stay at 15 minutes if you are busy that day. Surely we all have 15 minutes.... the result is creating a writing habit rather than just writing whenever we feel like it. Takes a lot to change our routines but we can do it. (more)
