We are a Veteran Owned Business? Is that something that is important to you?
As a Pawtree Partner, I am also active in the "Women In The Pet Industry" as well as local veteran organizations. Are those logos important to you? Would they influence you to buy if you knew that a portion of all sales are donated to animal shelters and to disabled veterans?

You have a lot of stuff you are saying in one question:
-veteran owned business
-support disabled veterans
-active in local veteran organizations
-in the pet industry
-woman in the pet industry
-support animal shelters
And several things left out:
-what is the base organization?
-who are your ideal prospects for that?
-what is the tie-in to the nonprofit?
-what percentage of profits?
And each one of the ideas you listed in your question has potential to be valuable in marketing. But there are different products, services, nonprofits, and target audiences for every combination.
Women in the pet industry supporting local shelters is a great tie-in.
Being a veteran owned pet industry business, not so much.
Active in local veteran organizations probably doesn't influence someone looking for pet care unless you can tie it in- like 'was a dog handler in Afghanistan'.
So, I did 23 years in the Navy. Who is the veteran who owns the business?

To your primary question, YES, both of those causes are important to me and would influence my decision to choose one business over a competitor, regardless of what I'm shopping for. I know you're aware of the other issues pointed out by Mark, but I think your simple question can be answered simply: Yes.
