Can you give feedback on our updated website?
Jax Press updated their website. If you have time would you look it over and give me your feedback. I know it's a work in progress and will appreciate any criticism.

I will need some help with SEO. I do not need an SEO company just if someone will help me on an hourly basis.
Thanks,
John

Took a quick look at your site and I see some good things (I really like the color scheme and large bold text) and some things that could make your site better. If you send me an email to [email address] I would be happy to provide a free comprehensive review of the site with recommendations for improvement.
To be completely honest, the colors do not vibe very well and the typography is outdated. I would absolutely get this redone as it looks low quality.
I think it looks great!
It's a decent site. However the only thing I would look at doing differently is putting images of your products above the 'fold' of the page. And use tags for them. When I went to your site It took me a few seconds to read through and see what promotional items I could get. The other thing I would look at is fonts. I would use different fonts and possibly add an element of movement on the site. Another thing would be to add customer reviews. And then have them link out to their social media or their website.
Send me the link, I do quick evaluations at no charge.
I think it's coming along well! Websites are always works in progress but I like it! Using Title Case makes it a little difficult to read, but the colors are attractive and I think it's a good start. I'd also recommend a few more pictures - graphics grab people's attention.
What I love:
- The pink gradient and soft, curved divider I see on some of the pages.
- The contrast between light & dark with a pop of color (though it's typically customary to go with almost-black and almost-white rather than stark black and white, because that's hard on the eyes)
- The simplicity of the site
- The inclusion of testimonials
- It loads very quickly
What I don't love:
- Different lines of text in the header with similar font sizes compete for attention
- A need for slightly better organization of content
- Too little spacing inside sections
- Lack of navigation on some pages
Building your business website is a lot to take on, and I've definitely struggled with the beginning stages myself before I eventually got to the point where I was building them for others. I can see where you're working to define your style, achieve a sense of continuity throughout your site, and work on mastering the toolset you chose (which appears to be WordPress, Generate Press, and Elementor, right? all of which are excellent tools to use). For SEO, it's good to get a little help from someone experienced to find out what you need, but the best way to configure it once you know what you need is with one of these plugins: Yoast SEO, All In One SEO, or SEO Framework. You're welcome to ask me any questions about your website or SEO if you want more in-depth advice than I can provide in a comment here in the forum.
Ultimately, your website is always going to be more of a "process" or a "journey" than anything, and you learn as you go. I think you have a good start and would love to see how the finished product turns out!
The site needs more visual hierarchy and "white space" between elements. I find everything on the homepage squishy.
You get what you paid for. Good luck
A bit of advice from someone who has been in the biz for 12 yrs... Don't skimp when it comes to your website and SEO. When done right, they can explode your business. Done wrong and you'll be just one of the crowd of business people who are pinching pennies to stay afloat. Your site is Wordpress, which is great, but even though you've installed Yoast, you still may have issues with a poorly coded theme. You need the proper foundation, then the proper content and after that, a proper strategy to beat the competition. Someone who is wiling to work on an hourly basis for SEO isn't someone who should be trusted with your business website. You need a whole lot more help than you think you do.
Hope this helps a little to open your eyes.
