Angelique, the best non-function book I have read this year is my new book, Making Your Life Simply Simple! I wrote this because so many people talk to me about wanting to simply their life, but in the process they make their life more difficult! So, I wrote this book to offer those who are SERIOUS about having a simpler life a process to achieve it without bringing more stress to their life. Check it out at my website, RichardFlint.com  Just an FYI -- we sold out the first addition in 14 days!! Told me there is a need to have a simplier life.

Girl Wash Your Face by Rachel Hollis. She uses humor to get to the heart of your why and to propel you to your best self. Her points are valid, useful, and thought-provoking, yet it reads like you're having coffee with her and not be schooled by an educator.

"Illusions" by Richard Bach. I've read it at least once a year for over 15 years; because it reminds me that we limit ourselves by our beliefs and perceptions, which then creates our limited reality. I get something new from it every time. It's the only book I've ever read that when I finished, I turned back to the first page and read it again!

I can narrow down to 2. Change Your Questions, Change Your Life by Marilee Adams, and The Stuck Book by Chris McAlister. Both of them move past "hyped positivity" and into actual tools and frameworks to first become a better leader of self, further equipping and empowering you to become a better leader of others.

I liked "The Book of Joy" interviews of the Dalai Lama and Desmond Tutu. So openly willing to answer questions with such great wisdom, honesty, humility, and love. They have a wonderful way of putting life in perspective and reality.

Book Yourself Solid by Michael Port, has radically changed the way that I approach my business and my business development strategy. I believe that all sales and business developers should read it! It does involve a time commitment to use the corresponding workbook, but it is well worth it.

I generally have a few books in progress and a couple that I have read but refer back to from time to time.

A nonfiction book that is on my top ten list is 'Do You QuantumThink' by Dianne Collins. And should you be intrigued enough to get a copy for yourself, start with chapter 18 as recommended by the author.

My top rated non-fiction book this year: "The Book of Joy" by the Dalai Lama and Desmond Tutu. The two world leaders talk about life, their challenges and the "Lasting Happiness in a Changing World".  A very powerful message

Hi Angelique.. I  do not read non-fiction because of  its
#1 status, I read what I want to learn about. By my desk are copies of books by Judith Orloff, M.D., namely 'Positive Energy' and 'The Ecstasy of Surrender". I recommend these books because they are about topics we all have in common, i.e., Fatigue, stress, fear and empowerment to name a few. ~Joanne Victoria
