It will depend solely on the platform and the demographics where you business is conducted. We normally recommend non-peak hours, Twitter and Instagram more frequent then other platforms. Also there is a rule 33.3% x 3 that we recommend to follow. The most important of all is a proper usage of the analytics, analyze and adjust until you get the results.
According to Hootsuite, "the best time to post on Facebook is between 12 p.m. and 3 p.m. Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday" and "the best time to post on Twitter is at 3 p.m. Monday to Friday." These are generalized numbers, but should work as a good start until you can experiment and find what has the best traction for you.
As others have said, this depends greatly on who it is that you're trying to reach. Small business leaders typically check social media first thing in the morning and then periodically throughout the day, but rarely at night. Individuals glance at things during the day, but spend more time at night. See what works best for your audience.
Hello! I have learned very early morning or around 5pm, carefully avoiding the height of the busy workday. However, I post when I have the time right now. I need to better utilize Hootsuite.
In my opinion different audiences are on at different times--I make it a habit to check all social media and enter new posts in the early morning; around noon and then early evening at least 3-4 times per week. Some social media I check even more regularly, i.e. facebook, linked in and tweeter. Scheduling time post is how i can best balance all the work and keeping up with social media.

10am & 3pm you can set consistent post for those times to automatically post. Consistency is key too. I still find it a challenge, as my things are more organic time wise, but having something post consistently is a solid visual and those watching notice.
It's mostly dependent on your audience. I have found that it differs depending on your algorithms and engagement levels. Test the waters and see what works best for you. I find early mornings for some companies I work with, wherras early evenings work better for others. The important thing is that your posting daily, staying consistent and engaging your audience.

I agree with Marta Rosa. It depends upon your audience. Make it consistent no matter when you post.

Hi,
There are a lot of opinions out there, but we have had success with FB posting Thursdays & Friday 1-4 PM, and Saturdays and Sundays 12-1PM
Twitter should be daily (Monday-Friday) - 12-3PM and at 5PM
Instagram Mondays and Thursdays anytime (except 3-4PM), Videos anytime after 9PM
Hope this helps. And let me know if you have anymore questions.
Emery
I have read that 6-8pm is when most eyes use social media.
