If you are at a trade show or special event, what or why do you go to the table or booth. It may be that you are looking for that service or product, what else?

I'm probably a trade shows worst customer - so in order to draw me in, chocolate samples are a good start - especially quality chocolate or unusual flavors. Also, if the person in the booth looks like they're having fun, are dressed for the item being showcased, and say HI and look at people, rather than at their phones, I'm more likely to engage. Does not mean I'll buy or sign up, but I may stop by and have a chat.
If the booth manager is funny and engaging and makes me want to come in and chat, not feel awkwardly obligated to come in to chat! I also +1 chocolate. LOL
If my sales rep tells me that I ABSOLUTELY need to see something or it may be something that I have never seen before. For the most part, I have been doing this for so long, I go to the shows just in case there is something that I haven't seen. I also get to see some friends that are in the business and we trade stories.
Lots of good food and a pretty booth.
There's several things that can draw me to a booth it could be how it's displayed it could be the interaction that the person in the booth is having with me when I'm walking by it could be something that they're offering even as a free sample or it could be of interest to me just by the signage of something I'm really interested in.
A big banner that has their promise message on it.
Inviting samples always compel me to stop at a booth!
I look for new and creative display ideas and tasty food!
We have done MANY events for vendors at trade shows at the convention center. It doesn't matter how many Massage Therapists' we have on hand to provide chair massage - our lines NEVER end! EVERYONE pretty much LOVES chair massage; especially at trade shows when their bodies hurt all over from walking the concrete floors!
