When I opened my first store it was on a busy street, I display my fashions in the window, people started pouring in, then it was word of mouth and it continue to grow and grow.

my 1st client was the RCMP 30 minutes after I called them and told them we were open for business! they were unhappy with my competitor and were glad we cam to town!

Now retired and writing, I use social media as a promotional tool.

Giving my cards out at businesses talking to people

Social media, lawn signs and offering referral incentives to our existing patietnts.

I networked with many different people around town as well as my friends and family. Asking questions about people they may know that can provide me with potential leads.

Word of Mouth. I also joined Toastmasters.

This will depend on your special skill. Linkedin and UPWORK have been very kind to me.

As a budding videographer in the late 1990s, I found my first client in the local newspaper. I offered to shoot their wedding completely free of charge so that I would have a tape to show other prospective clients what I could do.

It was a win-win for both of us!

we are a nonprofit organization Community Action Agency we do whatever we can to help take people to the next level
