About Us
The 159th Blue Earth County Fair will be held in Garden City, Minnesota on July 26-29th, 2018. There will be lots of entertainment, food, 4-H exhibits, animals and grandstand events, including ATV Barrel Racing, a Demolition Derby, Tractor Pull and Compact Car Races. Musical entertainment to be announced at a later date.

It's been a lot of trial and error for us. Connections with the business back rounds we need haven't had the passion for the fair and fairgrounds. Without the passion, board meetings, grounds clean up and organization meetings are skipped. The connections that have been most successful did not...

It's been a lot of trial and error for us. Connections with the business back rounds we need haven't had the passion for the fair and fairgrounds. Without the passion, board meetings, grounds clean up and organization meetings are skipped. The connections that have been most successful did not have business connections, just a desire to make the fairgrounds the best they could be and networking aquaintences for donations for our business needs.
For us, it meant hosting an event that was thoroughly thought out, planned with every attention to detail, highly advertised and invitations sent to those we wanted to connect with. Word of mouth in the business community has been most effective for us.
