About Us

We are a new type of management consulting firm in that we offer risk management consulting services as well as business intelligence offerings, data science installations, cybersecurity, cloud services, hosted email services, Microsoft Office products, Business-class VOIP phone products, network switches, and voice services.

We can provide you with a shared cloud environment or a private cloud server environment.

Our business partners currently include CloudCo, SherWeb, Microsoft, Polycom, Yealink, Lenovo, GoDaddy, and RingCentral.

We strive to work with small businesses to harness the power of their data, so they can realize almost immediate cost savings. One phrase that we like to use is balance sheet optimization.

So, no matter the industry your company is in, we are happy to offer a 30-minute complimentary consultation to see if our products make sense for your business. You will be amazed at the cost/benefit realization you could achieve. I am most easily reached by calling 804-299-4758. Many thanks for your time.

How We Got Started

I had a very successful career in retail banking where I was a credit executive for 2 of the top ten national banks in the U.S. This experience allowed me the opportunity to learn about business processes, credit analysis, business intelligence, and the fundamentals of business optimization. I left due to a serious illness. After a hiatus, I opened a debt collection agency which was more successful than I anticipated. After 2 years in business, I was able to sell this business for a nice return on my investment.

It was at this point in the Fall of 2014 that I decided that I wanted to help small businesses through consulting. As my consulting practice grew, I realized that many of the small businesses I was working with had huge technology gaps. I decided to address these needs by offering a wide array of technology products as my technical acumen grew.

Now, I have an extensive set of tools to offer to my clients.

Not really. As a B2B company, I do not notice much of an uptick in business.  (more) Not really. As a B2B company, I do not notice much of an uptick in business.

I prefer having a client for a long time rather than a single transaction.  My best client relationships occur when I have informal coffee breaks with them. We get a chance to add dimensions to our relationship that otherwise would not exist. This allows me to share anecdotes that make my business more relevant to the client or potential customers.  Talking breaks down barriers.

Interest in it by clients has risen tremendously, but I would be remiss if I published all of our tactics and plans. Suffice it to say, we have worked to develop the best relationships with vendors for business continuity and intrusion avoidance. We think we have compelling offers for mobile, virtual, and on-premise services.

Expensify for expense and receipt management.  Slack for team organization and communication and sharing. Asana is also great for team communication and project management. Square allows everyone to accept credit cards with a simple rate plan.  I hope that helps.

In a brief but focused conversation listen to what the prospective customer is saying about problematic areas, and then try to provide a concise response of how the product set you are offering can ameliorate these problems.  (more) In a brief but focused conversation listen to what the prospective customer is saying about problematic areas, and then try to provide a concise response of how the product set you are offering can ameliorate these problems.

First, there should be a needs assessment. Then, a cost-benefit analysis should occur to ensure that the business is actually progressing by making the update whether it be hardware or software.  (more) First, there should be a needs assessment. I tried unsuccessfully for weeks ( which became months ) to get Google to remove the review because I did not even service that state. Eventually, I had to re-brand entirely. So, I am wary of personal issues that can complicate business, and I worry about the impact of social media.
