Robert - consider spending your non-working hours networking with Home Inspectors, Real Estate Agents, and Mortgage Brokers. Also consider meeting with Restoration Services, Mold Remediation Specialists, and General Contractors. Be patient and work on building strong relationships with these individuals and work on giving and receiving referrals.

To help you with your marketing, (for due diligence from the professionals mentioned above), have a nice looking business card, a simple/small website that says who you are/what you do (try http://wordpress.com), and a rack card to share. Once you have a good network of professionals who can refer to you, give them some of your marketing materials to share with prospects.

Give yourself the time and effort to build the right relationships and look to help the other professionals gain business as well.
