However, this isn't the most feasible way for most small businesses. Text messages and emails can also be effective methods of asking for reviews, but they do require followup. Having a process is place will help you generate reviews consistently. Including a customer review funnel with your scheduled CRM "ask for review" campaign is the preferred method. Load the campaign with 3 followup emails asking for the review, that send over the course of 9 days. Regardless, the hardest part for most small businesses is just asking for the review. Once you can get past the fear and consistently ask for reviews from your customers, it will become habitual and rewarding.

At the end of the day, I want to meet new people and stay in contact with the people I value.   In business networking, if you lead with giving value and building meaningful relationships, gaining new business is a simple result of it. Sometimes, you have to get out of "networking" to benefit from networking.

It is a method of PPC advertising that allows you to only advertise to those who have already visited a digital property of yours. This way, your advertising dollars are only spent on those who have shown an interest in your company/product/services. Remarketing is available via Google Adwords, Facebook Ads, and other PPC advertising services. Of course, you still need a method of getting traffic to the digital properties first, which could come from discovery and due diligence marketing channels. We use this method with our own marketing, as well as our clients', as a method to shave costs and be smarter with ad budgets.

Give them a ballpark number. It is best to not waste time on these types of transactions. If the client is serious, they will either give you a budget OR be willing to negotiate with the number you give them. Then, and only then, should you put forth the effort to build a proposal.
