About Us

“Breathe Clean Air” has been the motto for Air Filter Exchange since Ted and Sandy Golden started the company in 2002. We began by servicing filters in smoking areas. Early in 2004, our customers began to request service of their commercial heating and cooling units. Since then the customer base has grown to include municipalities, restaurants, strip malls, auto dealers, churches and others. Air Filter Exchange LLC was formed in 2008. Sandy Golden is the member and Ted is the contact. Our MWESB certification number is 8029. Along with scheduled service, we are offering direct shipment of filters anywhere.

How We Got Started

If it works don't fix it is not always a good idea. Air filters become clogged and are able to cause immeasurable and expensive problems. Scheduled on time filter maintenance is inexpensive and may prevent equipment failure and business disruption.

We don’t have employees. That alone avoids challenges. I realize AFX could be much bigger and more profitable but that is just not what we were after. (more) We don’t have employees.
