This is a great question.  Having come from extensive  b2c and  b2b sales background all 3 are a necessary part of doing business. Like many of you have pointed out, there is a high level of frustration with robocalls and telemarketers .Text messaging is also being abused by a good number of companies. Emails are easily overlooked if you see hundreds a day like most of us. Face to face calls are not very practical for either side, takes up unplanned time for the prospect and harder for the sales rep to cover the number of calls they may need.

The simple answer of "dont call me I'll call you" will keep smaller or newer companies from competing with large established companies in existing industries and would be a total disaster for new better services or products you may not be aware of.

Reaching out to market your service or product via calls, text or in person isn't going away anytime soon and for many small business owners this is probably a good thing.

Many existing businesses will need to continue/start to leverage their current clients through social media w/likes, following and referral programs, loyalty programs (made easy). Depending upon the product or service some form of marketing to keep their company in front of prospects would be recommended.

That being said I find email the best for me. After all the question was what is your preferred method...
