Gift cards and they can buy whatever might be needed.

I actually do not give gifts to anyone at closing.  Maybe a good bottle of wine or a gift card to a restaurant.  I am typically commercial real estate so I may be a little less generous.  My clients get the benefit of strong returns on their investments.

It all depends on the client. I may try to find something to fit a hobby of theirs or a nice print or charcuterie board with their name engraved on it.

The gift, no matter what you call it, should be tailored to each individual client based on your relationship with them.

I give Lowes and Home Depot gift cards.

I give a SOLAR Pink Flamingo at the signing of agreement. It take 3-4 months to install but the Flamingo is vigilant!

My closing gifts vary and are personalized to my clients.  Sometimes it is a home warranty, a gift card, a personal item.  I make each transaction unique to my clients and focus on making it specific to them.

Exactly the same for me.  When working with a client, you get to know what's important to them, what they like, etc.  I think when you make the extra effort to give them a personal gift, instead of some generic, one size fits all, it shows that you've been listening to them.  I believe your clients will appreciate and remember you more if you personalize a gift that fits them.  That said, I've given gift cards for pie, wine and their local butcher shop, in addition to the more typical home improvement stores.

Depending on the cost of the property, and if any credits were given from me.... otherwise, usually a Bed , bath gift card to help the new homeowner out.
