What Is Your Favorite Social Media Platform?

I know the question is favorite but that doesn't seem like the right question for a business. Seems "what is the most effective social media platform for your business?" might be the right question.

But, since that wasn't the question, my favorite is Twitter but it's not necessarily the most effective. Instagram surprisingly brings many new newsletter subscribers and LinkedIn is great for connecting with other entrepreneurs.

For myself I use FB, LinkedIn, Blog Sites and a few sites that are within my industry. In order to help build a solid base for my network and develop spider links, I've found this develops what I aim to achieve. There are downsides of course and one must be aware as it relates to those landmines as I like to call them.

They all do something different. For me to get subscribers to my e-newsletter (which is free so everyone can join - www.longbeach.macaronikid.com): Facebook is THE BEST! To interact with businesses: Twitter. To let people see pictures or cool events coming up (flyers): Instagram.

It truly depends on what area your business is in. Linkedin is geared toward more business professionals, professional services. Facebook is necessary for all brands. Instagram is to connect with the millennials. You will be able to find success in any of these Social Media channels, but the key is to grow them organically instead of paying for likes and followers.

It depends on your objectives.

However, just looking from a purely statistical point of view, you can't go wrong with Facebook and Instagram. They are by far the most used networks.

Study the latest Pew findings and you'll understand why it's vital to master these platforms if you want to be where most people are hanging out (and yes, that includes B2B customers!).

As the marketing and advertising division of Comcast, Comcast Spotlight keeps our clients and prospective clients up to date on the latest Premium Digital Video opportunities available on all screens to reach their targeted customer on our Facebook and Twitter pages. search: Comcast Spotlight. LinkedIn. You can build relationships with the decision makers by passing the gate keepers.

Facebook kicks it for me. I post stories on my website, then cross post to Facebook and watch the numbers soar. Not as much response from Twitter. A new advertiser told me today that he follows everything on Facebook and got to know my website better thanks to it (and now he took out a 6 month ad contract)

As a B2B marketer, my go-to platform has to be LinkedIn. Because it is so tied to the incorruptible CV of a business professional, it has to be the freshest source of information about work affiliation and previous positions. However, LinkedIn does not help you find key contact information (e.g., email and cell phone #). The InMail facility, if applicable, is useful to approach potential connections in your professional network. There is also a new interactive chat function but one-on-one video conferencing must still be conducted on either Skype or Google Hang-outs.

Favorite Platflorms are Twitter and Facebook... most of the time i advertise on Twitter , there's more vast majority of what you are looking for with other business associates ... I had a few traffic exchanges i personally worked with and give or take they do help in having your website seen (hits) daily but like everything else you must show your website everywhere at all times on the net, it also helps to tag your site for google and other computer platforms to gather its marketing data tagged to you online.. takes some time to eventually see the outcome but works. I also know some S.E.O. work as well. Having to go back on Affiliates like SFI i know is a rep business i don't mind. Along the way there are marketers who lose there way and give up so this is a big mistake and you always must try to make them feel happy by giving something a way for free just to get them excited about what your trying to do. I hope this helps? one more added advice ... never depend on your customers ... always keep your head up and never give up.. because eventually you will find some good loyalty that can make you both wealthy.
