Compounding interest is an excellent concept except there has to be interest rate that is worthwhile. Current bank rate of 0.1% or even a CD rate at 2%, it will still take 720 and 36 years, respectively, to double your money. Compounding interest from an index strategy in a life insurance or annuity policy is something we can talk about.

My favorite concept is arbitrage. Compound interest is great, but only requires some principal and time to generate returns. Arbitrage is understood by few.
