About Us

Erin D Jacobs Photography specializes in capturing natural moments as they unravel in time. Focused on emotional energy, candid responses, and flickers of beauty in her eye, Erin captures what provokes inner peace.

Erin obtained her bachelors degree in 2010 from Illinois State University where she graduated in Fine Art and obtained a studio sequence focus in photography. Post graduation, Erin relocated to downtown Chicago where she continued to expand her photography business & push her art to the next level.

Erin now resides in Gunnison, Colorado where she has a sweet family comprised of both two and four legged beings.

Erin’s fine art stems from daily life. Adventuring in the forms of 4x4 off-roading, snowmobiling, hiking, climbing, and camping encourage a pause to appreciate the beauty and embellishments of our world. Her unique wood pieces are a multi-step, hand worked process.

In addition, Erin D Jacobs Photography is a full service boutique providing a start to finish experience for all your moments in life. Childhood, graduation, business, engagement, wedding, maternity, newborn & more! Erin will leave you with tangible art of your most beautiful memories to cherish for decades.

(more) It is important to note that attracting new customers is not always the goal.  But to attract NEW & IDEAL customers.  A client is specific to your brand & offerings.  Word of mouth is absolutely the best thing for me in a small town.  Other ways I attract new clients include web marketing, pairing up with other local businesses that I support and basic friendly conversation.  Ways I've attracted clients unintentionally in the past is by the volunteer work I do.  Offering your services for free to better a community situation (pet adoption & child loss are my big passions!) not only raise awareness about your business (maybe they hadn't seen your work before, but see your photos on a shelters website) but also promote what you're compassionate for.
