We are seeing a surge with different clients right now. Computer services are busy setting up clients for telecommuting, disaster recovery swamped with virus wipe down & preventative spray, home improvement/contractors seeing a definite dip.
During this downturn, do not pull into your shell. Look for the upside! We have a client that has added delivery service, another that has been waiting to build out an online store, now it has moved to the forefront. Now is the time to keep pushing forward, and slide past your competition. We saw this in 2001, 2007 and now 2020, and we will see it again. Don't get bogged down in the negative!

I am disappointed in what "Black Friday" has become over the years. As a kid, I remember the excitement of Black Friday when all the holiday trees and decorations were lit up in town, and Santa would come to town (or Macy's). Now, by the time Thanksgiving gets here and "Black Friday" is upon us, we have been looking at Christmas decorations since sometime in October, before the Halloween candy has been discounted. I know, as an adult, that Christmas is a commercialized holiday but the kid in me misses the magic.
We are always interested in bartering especially with local businesses. I understand how many prefer cash, but for us, bartering can be better than cash. We recently did work for a restaurant and received a ton of $ 50 gift cards in exchange for our service. We could never use them all...

We are always interested in bartering especially with local businesses. I understand how many prefer cash, but for us, bartering can be better than cash. We recently did work for a restaurant and received a ton of $ 50 gift cards in exchange for our service. We could never use them all ourselves, but we leverage them with new clients. "Here's $ 50, go have lunch or dinner on us!" It makes us look great, give our client the opportunity to win a new customer and we tell our guest to let them know we sent them, giving our prospective customer the opportunity to hear "how great we are" from an existing customer.
Now this doesn't work for every industry, but for us it has provided incredible results!
