How We Got Started

I had been contacted by a number of people asking how they could improve their energy usage in their homes. I contacted AEP, Mr. Garrett Dorsey, and he gave us the necessary information on how to get our technical training and obtain our national license. The Company has grown steadily over the past 10 years. In 2017 EEI received an award from the Environmental Protection Agency for ENERGY STAR CERTIFIED HOMES MARKET LEADER AWARD. Currently EEI is the largest Energy Star Home certification company in the Rio Grande Valley.

Given the fact that OSHA spends about 70% of inspections in the RGV , why is safety such a hard thing to digest here. Need is strong, ROI (return on investment) when done right is strong. Any suggestions on how to break the crust?

What would the cost be for a HVAC inspection prior to a potential home buyer buying a home?

All utilities should be on and system in working condition, if possible. An HVAC tech can check out the units to insure everything is functional and parts are in good condition. An HVAC tech can check out the units to insure everything is functional and parts are in good condition. A Home Energy Rater should be contacted to do a Blower door test for building tightness and a Duct Blast test to find out how bad the AC system leaks. Since you AC system accounts for up to 50% of your electric bill it is important to fix all of the possible areas that the AIR can escape through.
