All the comments I am reading confirm what I have been saying all along. Anyone pursuing a contractor from a company that says it is a "free" service and yet spends thousands of dollars advertising almost constantly is not the client professional contractors want or need.

We have established, within our HBA and for our members, a BNI or LeTips type Networking and Referral group that meets every two weeks.  It benefits all of our members by using the "Areas of Influence" we all have to promote one another.  It is based upon getting to know each other well and being familiar enough to be willing and able to give a word of mouth endorsement.  Best of all, it is working.  Every time we meet we get testimonies about how well!
