All commissions pertaining to real estate are negotiable , very few companies in Hawaii charge 6% , 5% seems to be the norm. That being said if you want to see agents breaking down your door to show your property, offer 4% to the buyers broker and see what happens.All those flat fee companies still have to have their sellers pay 2.5 or 3% to the buyers broker.
