What is the greatest length you’ve gone to secure a deal or client?

I had a first time customer that purchased an item from me in July-2018. She said that the item was not of good quality. I went to the manufacture and told them what happen. They replied that the customer had the item to long to get a refund. I told my customer what the manufacture said. I didn't want to anger the customer so I agreed to allow her to purchase the same jacket at half price and that she pay for shipping. The customer was so excited. I think we have to do anything necessary to satisfy our customers. I love a satisfied customer.
