You've already taken the first step (being aware of the problem). My recommendation is to join an organization to get your information (marketing) in front of as many people as possible. Chamber membership is relatively inexpensive and you can get your information in front of many more folks than you would a BNI or other networking group and it's out there quickly, not to mention the networking opportunities.
