I have had time to figure out how much of the art I create is me and how much is what I think "me" should be; hence, my direction is starting to change. All this time has helped me to understand which projects are exciting and which are joyless. An artist has to be enthusiastic about what they are doing if it is to have life. And so my bucket has been emptied of the desire to please others and filled with the desire to please me. (more)
