ITalk Telecontracting, Inc. was founded by Mr. Ken Harbison in 1986. With over 30 years of experience in the design, installation, and service industry of voice and data communications, as well as surveillance cameras, ITalk is a leader in the industry.

ITalk’s staff of certified technicians is equipped to service a wide variety of Key, PBX, Cloud (VoIP), IP, and Voicemail systems from selected major manufacturers. With the eruption of computer LAN and WAN networks in the business environment, ITalk has also pursued opportunities in the data connectivity and Fiber Optics fields. ITalk is proud to be one of the few companies that has the technical expertise to design and install Fiber Optics, and continues to be in stride with emerging technologies such as VoIP (Voice-over-Internet-Protocol), Computer Telephony Integration (CTI) and others that will shape business communications in the future.

How We Got Started

Our owner, Ken Harbison, originally began working for his uncle, who was a general contractor for AT&T. Digging pits and burying copper led to a vast knowledge of telephony. As telephone systems became more common, Ken branched off to form his own business. We celebrated 30 YEARS April of 2016.

One thing - the customer value that we give. Let me explain! We do as much free over-the-phone support as we can , where our competitors charge for it. We are the lowest hourly rate in the area versus our competitors. We don't charge monthly recurring service fees, we are a pay-if-you-use-us. We... (more) One thing - the customer value that we give. Let me explain! We do as much free over-the-phone support as we can , where our competitors charge for it. We are the lowest hourly rate in the area versus our competitors. We don't charge monthly recurring service fees, we are a pay-if-you-use-us. We do free training on our systems instead of charging for it like our competitors. We have 4 techs total - 1 has been with us 25 years, 1 has been with us 16 years, 1 has been with us 6 years and 1 has been with us 1 year (officially-he has worked temp for us off and on for 5 years prior to being hired on. We don't have real churn like our competitor. We have a vast array of what we can do, and excel at it. We are a small company and our unofficial motto is "All Hands on Deck." As a salesperson I can also design systems, program and troubleshoot (most of our) systems, help in service, billing, etc.
