How We Got Started
We began as the Yolanda Plute Trio. The US Grant Hotel engaged us for the daily luncheon in The Garden Room. The hostess who "pep" talked us each morning was named Caprice. "Play to each person , and have fun." We became Caprice Strings at that point. We continue to think of her advice to this day.

We perform all year. We have been engaged in performances almost weekly since the pandemic began. Our music can be seasonal? but essentially we are the perfect solution to any gathering that wants live music. We are acoustic. We are compact, and we have you covered musically for anything...

We perform all year. We have been engaged in performances almost weekly since the pandemic began. Our music can be seasonal? but essentially we are the perfect solution to any gathering that wants live music. We are acoustic. We are compact, and we have you covered musically for anything from Holiday songs, to our regular programs spanning Bach to Tupac. Performance haven't been lost, some have rescheduled for 2021, but many went from guest lists of 2oo to only 20.
And our chamber music fits the bill perfectly.
In the time of Covid, contacting colleagues and
neighbors is the best thing I can recommend.
