I use to 'mine' the internet for places where prospective clients might be hiding.  I stopped doing this as soon as I realized that simply trying to embed myself in their stream of cyber consciousness was not enough.

Then I learned about 'Authority Based Marketing' and it changed how I showed up in person and on the internet.  Rather than hunting and chasing prospects, I turned to building an authoritative brand.  I learned how my best current clients think and make decisions on services similar to mine.  Then, I created content that spoke to those issues.

Now that my brand is established as an authority in the area of professional development and business growth, the people I want to do business with find me.
