Like Carl, I  see great value in networking not only for building relationships that lead to new customers but also for the opportunity to make connections for others. I'm a connector. It's one of my strengths. I may not always have the answer but I  often know someone that does. It's easy to add value to relationships when you're being helpful. Whether it's me solving their problem or introducing them to someone else who can, there's mutual benefit to be had.
