Step and Repeat LA is a company that specializes in the creation of red carpet backdrops, or better known in the film and entertainment industry as ‘step and repeats’. These backdrops feature an array of event sponsor logos that have been laid out in a step or diagonal pattern. Step and repeats are most commonly used for televised award ceremonies and film premieres and have become increasingly popular at grand openings, birthday parties and fundraisers.
Step and Repeat LA provides complete delivery, setup, take-down and pick-up services for all media wall purchases. For traditional banner orders shipping outside of the Los Angeles area, Step and Repeat LA provides free ground shipping. Why is it necessary for your charity or fundraiser event to have a step and repeat?
Sponsors will love you!
Gain the support of your sponsors by letting them know their logo will be displayed on the backdrop, and thus, in all photos posted everywhere after! Extra exposure for them!
Don’t pay for your backdrop!
Sponsors will increase the level of sponsorship and give you more money to have their logo on the backdrop. For example, you can send out a sponsorship advertisement about your event and list the Bronze Sponsorship Level worth $500 which includes a link on website, email blast and ad in event program. The Silver Sponsorship Level would be $1000 which would include the same items above plus their logo on the backdrop! This is just an example.
The increased income from all sponsors will easily cover the price of the backdrop PLUS!!
Celebrity Red Carpet Status
Increase the stature of your event to “celebrity status”. Just the mere fact of having a step and repeat set up, a red carpet runway, lights shining softly on the backdrop and photographers flashing away, really puts forth a quality of “importance” and “richness”. You want this for your event.

Be sure to photograph the winners in front of the backdrop. Make the logos of the best sponsors larger or more prominent on the backdrop. Our designers can help you with the design. You could also rent an open air photo booth that people pose in front of with the backdrop behind them and then they can post the photos right then and there to social media. At Step and Repeat LA we may even give you a discount on your backdrop if we also put our logo on your backdrop, especially if it is for a charity or fundraiser! It's a pretty good deal for sponsors to get lots of exposure for their brand.

If a customer writes a review we send them a cool water bottle or backpack or phone accessory or tape measure. At Christmas we send our top clients gift boxes that we personally create with unique items. Throughout the year we create fun games or giveaways. On an on-going basis, we show appreciation by answering the phone and not letting the calls go to voicemail, responding to emails as quickly as possible, giving fast quotes, fast turnaround and treating each customer's event as if it was our own.

HOW IT BEGAN
At 14 years old, a young boy from Kansas named George Collins started painting signs to support his family. He created his own sign shop called George’s Signs.

At 21 years old, he moved to Los Angeles, continuing to paint and fabricate signs for buildings, storefronts and events. As technology advanced and printers came on to the scene, sign painting became less and less needed. George, keeping up with the times, bought his first print-cut machine, creating stickers and decals. As time went on, he purchased more and more printers and equipment.
George is the kind of person that would make anything go right, no matter what. He’s a problem-solver. And he’s fast. Super fast.
This was much needed as the film industry started evolving and more and more commercials were being made. George started making signs and props for the entertainment industry on a regular basis. He would go on set and had the opportunity to create props around celebrities such as Justin Timberlake, Brittany Spears, JZ and more.
When red carpet events started really taking off, step and repeats were in demand as they created a nice backdrop for the celebrities as well as showcasing the logos of sponsors who supported the event.
His daughter, Codi-Rose, who started working for him at this time, saw the huge demand for this new product and created a website specifically selling these products. It was a success. More and more clients were ordering step and repeats. Codi-Rose decided to create a spin-off company, Step and Repeat LA, in order to fully embrace this niche and deliver anything and everything having to do with red carpet events. While George still handles the production side of things, Codi-Rose continually works the administrative side to expand the business and further the excellence of the products and services. She loves working in the event industry, making things happen and providing the glitz & glam to Hollywood events and red carpet events around the nation.
George continues to keep on top of the ever-changing technology, recently having purchased a fabric printer and the largest printer in the world, in order to create seamless large step and repeats.
It’s interesting to see the dichotomy of a 14-year-old sign painter from Kansas and the evolution that ensued, resulting in the top step and repeat company for prestigious red carpet events. This company is backed by experience, hard-work, change, innovation and a new generation with a brand-new dream and purpose.

Do a free community event and give out cards or promotion at the event. We make backdrops for free for a Halloween haunted house in our community and a photo booth company offers their services for free as well.
