I have several clients who have self-published and put their book on Amazon. You can also build a dedicated page on your website for the book, and allow people to comment, like, etc. I've seen people post small snippets of their book on social media, and then encourage people to visit the website... You can also build a dedicated page on your website for the book, and allow people to comment, like, etc. I've seen people post small snippets of their book on social media, and then encourage people to visit the website to learn more about/buy/download the book. Still others write a monthly blog post featuring a chapter of the book each month. Don't forget the face-to-face as well! If you do presentations, your book is a great marketing tool. And yes, book signings are still fantastic! I've seen some great successes with the above. Good luck!

I would definitely go with WordPress. It's a very SEO-friendly platform, and the options for customization are endless. It is also easy enough that you can manage it yourself, or you can find many, many people who are well-versed in doing updates for you. Wix is fine; I have clients on that... It is also easy enough that you can manage it yourself, or you can find many, many people who are well-versed in doing updates for you. Wix is fine; I have clients on that platform though almost all of them have since migrated over to WordPress. If you can, I'd start with WordPress.

The offerings by Amazon have grown substantially over the years, and their pricing and service are unsurpassed. Many of my clients refer their clients to Amazon to purchase products at a much more competitive price than they could get elsewhere. I also appreciate the platform that allows self-published writing to add their book to Amazon. A fantastic way to enter the field as a business book author.
