Cuban born Noel’s work is recognized by the broad bold strokes, the surging energy of color, movement, and by the carefully crafted anatomy of his figures. His cubist style emphasizes a lack of physical distinction between his male and female counterparts allowing him to focus more on his subject’s humanity, asserting that the human form is beautiful. In doing so, he emphasizes sensual subject matters and the appreciation of the body. Born in an artistic and theatrical family, Noel began his art career as a ballet dancer with the Ballet in Cuba with the famed Alonso’s, and continued in the US with Ballet Concerto, Dance Miami, Boston Ballet, and New England Dinosaur Dance Company until his retirement in 1986. From his dance career knowledge of stage, custom design and movement, a 2nd career as a painter bloomed with themes inspired by his theatrical experiences. Classical masters such as Da Vinci, Bernini, Caravaggio, Dali, Lempicka and many others also influence his work, but Noel finds his own unique style to capture the viewer. Noel has been commissioned by private and corporate collections such as Absolut Vodka, the City of Miami Beach, and AIDS organizations Nationwide to create commemorative pieces for benefits, projects, and events. Noel has received worldwide recognition with profiles and features in numerous magazines, newspapers, television and films. The European Library of Artists in Barcelona selected him for their 2007-2008-2009 editions of “100 Contemporary Artists of the World”. He is also featured in the first edition of the book “100 Artists of the Male Image” published by Schiffer Publishing, as well as "The World's Greatest Erotic Art of Today-Volume 4" published by ES Publishing. Noel was invited to participate in the prestigious International Art Exhibit at the Carrousel of The Louvre Museum in 2009. He created “La Colaborazione” with Mr. Uberto Gucci/Gucci family, which premiered in Miami Beach and Miami’s Art Basel 2011. In 2013 Noel created the painting for the official CNN en Español Miami’s Network Premiere. Since June of 2013 Noel was invited to become Artist in Residence for Oceania Cruises where he teaches and exhibits his works around the World. Besides being a Miami Beach Pioneer, Noel is also a major part of the Miami Art Scene. As a constant personal quest Noel’s work is always evolving, from techniques and mediums to subject matter, capturing the attention of youthful art enthusiasts and educated collectors.

My love and passion was passed on to me by my family, I knew that I was going to be an artist from a very early age.
